Certified parent coach

A little more hope for your home.

Parenting shouldn't feel like a constant battle.

I’m Jodi, and through attachment-based parent coaching I help parents of kids and teens — including adoptive families like mine — understand how their child’s mind really works, so the fighting and power struggles fade, big emotions feel manageable, and calm returns to your home.

A different way forward

How I work with you

01

Understand the nervous system

Learn to notice what’s happening underneath the big feelings and risky behaviors, instead of seeing only the behavior itself.

02

Build secure attachment

Create more safety and trust through everyday moments of connection, repair, and being present with your child.

03

Connect before you correct

Respond with greater clarity and confidence, even when parenting brings up your own old patterns and emotions.

Coaching with Jodi

Support that starts with you.

As an adoptive parent, I know that traditional discipline doesn’t always meet the needs of a child who has experienced trauma. My attachment-based parent coaching looks beneath the behavior to the need behind it — we’ll explore your family’s patterns, make room for your own healing, and practice connection-centered ways to respond that bring a little more hope for your home.

Ways to work together

  • Attachment-based parent coaching, shaped around your family
  • Individual sessions, group coaching, and shared learning
  • A guided 10-week coaching program

From parents I’ve worked with

What parents are saying

“It was like a light at the end of a dark underground tunnel. My relationship with my daughter has never been better — peace, love, and understanding are the standard in our home now.”
Dmitri
“Things in my home have gotten better and, in my family due to understanding what my children need. I have learned things about myself and how I was parented.”
Alexandra
“My partner really enjoyed your coaching, and my daughter and I have noticed a wonderful change. Your weekly guidance and connection was impactful. You've given us an amazing gift.”
A grateful parent
“Jodi has a warm way of connecting that makes it easy to talk about your most difficult issues without feeling judged. My time with her was transformational and eye-opening — it turned me around 180 degrees. Her coaching reaches beyond just parenting.”
Dmitri
“Working with Jodi has had a huge impact on my life and the way I parent. I learned more about my triggers, the ‘why’ behind my children’s behaviors, and the ‘why’ behind my own reactions. I’ve learned to regulate myself, stay calm, ask questions, and understand my kids instead of just reacting.”
Kristin Green
“I’m giving grace and connecting with my kids like never before. I have a peace and calm that I haven’t had before, and I’m living out present and intentional parenting with my children. Jodi knows her stuff. She’s not just a coach—she’s a mom who has lived this out in her own family. If you’re curious about working with Jodi, I can attest to the methods and the impact they can have—not just with your children, but in all of your relationships.”

A father’s story

“It changed the way I show up as a father.”

What brought you to coaching?

I wanted to be a better father and deepen my connection with my son. Certain behaviors would trigger me, and I wasn’t responding the way I wanted to. I knew I needed support understanding myself more deeply.

What was your biggest breakthrough?

Realizing how much my own attachment patterns and past were shaping my parenting. Once I saw that clearly, I learned to regulate myself, slow down, and respond with intention instead of reacting out of frustration.

How would you describe Jodi’s coaching?

Deeply personal and transformative. It’s not just strategies for your child’s behavior — it’s understanding yourself, healing your own triggers, and learning to parent from connection rather than control.
